Description:

Very few people know the stories and legends that are told about the “Oak of the German” and the “St. Florian’s Newsstand”.

We are located in Cingoli, Macerata, precisely in the “small laundry” of Amor di Lavanda B&b.

You will be guided in front of the centuries-old oak (we are in the presence of an AMI, Italian Monumental Tree, an oak tree about 250 years old) with its monumental fronds, who knows how many events have happened down there. In this visit, you will be told stories of German soldiers and Italian partisans, you will understand the reason for his name.. Continuing towards the ruins of the votive aedicle, of which there have been historical hints since 1400, you will listen to the story of San Floriano, a young Roman soldier who would have challenged and defeated the lord of darkness.

Wrapped in the atmosphere of the sunset, you will enjoy an aperitif based on local typicalities sitting near the lavender plants, watching where the sun ends up.

Visit to the “Piccolo Lavandeto” of Amor di lavanda b&b, and to the centuries-old oaks, with description and stories, tasting at sunset, (per person: 1 glass of Verdicchio, 1 bruschetta with oil of our production, 1 clove of stuffed growth, 1 slice of homemade donut, flavoured water), possibility of purchasing Lavandeto products (essential oil and hydrosol).
